Dear Caroline Skelly,
Thank you for the notification of 8th June 2004 that a local public inquiry
is to be held regarding the CPO2004.
I am pleased that democracy is being upheld in this instance.
In addition I have recently been informed in a newsletter distributed
to residents by Hyde and Rydon Construction who are the respective Housing
Association and development contractor. That they are putting forward
a revised planning application for Phase 3 of the redevelopment scheme
which involves Marlowe House and Millard House.
They state that the Phase is programmed to start by October 2004, and
that they are submitting a new Planning Application at the end of June
2004. From the simple details stated this would involve an increase in
units from the original application - more density.
Does the public enquiry mean that this revised application should be held
in abeyance until the outcome of the enquiry is known ? If so, can you
please pursue this matter further with Lewisham Council ?
Thank you.
Yours sincerely,
